On Sunday 17th March over 600 people, including 39 Hayle Runners, took on the Falmouth Half Marathon.
The “undulating” (to say the least) road route starts on Cliff Road before looping around Pendennis Headland and then following the coast past Gylly and Swanpool beaches. Runners then head out towards Maenporth and Mawnan Smith, before turning back towards home.
Emma Paull did phenomenally well coming in as second woman overall.
The Men’s team, comprised of Jacob Gardener, Peter Barnes, Neil Hayhurst, Steven Wherry, Dominc Turton, Ian Curnow, did brilliantly too, coming in first, so a massive well done to them!
The women’s team also did incredibly well, coming in second place! huge well done to Emma Paull, Melissa Nicholas, Lucy Paull, Debbie Harrison-Webb, Anna Goodman, Julie Towers.
