St Ives Bay 10K
A testing all off-road, beach and dunes 10km.

A testing all off-road, beach and dunes 10km.
PLUS, a separate 1 mile beach fun run with entries on the night (U16, £5 entry) – 6pm start.
The race starts on the beach and participants will run towards the Lighthouse. NEW for 2026, runners will be guided up onto the dunes, avoiding the Gwithian steps. This is followed by 2 miles of Towans paths including a final ‘Dune of Doom’, before returning to the beach for the final 1.2 miles.
Hayle Runners has been proud supporters of the Hayle Food Bank since 2022. The Food Bank has helped hundreds of families in the local area, and we’d like to invite participants in the St Ives Bay 10k to help us to continue to support them in doing this. Contributions of just one or two items from our running community will make a significant difference.
Start time: 7pm. Bib collection from 5pm.
Start venue: Hayle Surf Lifesaving Club, Riviere Towans, Phillack, Hayle, Cornwall, TR27 5AF
Minimum age: 16

- Water stop at mile 3. Please note this is a CUPLESS event
- Bespoke medal for all finishers

- Headphones, including bone conduction models are NOT permitted under any circumstances.
Prizes for first three male and females, age category prizes and team prizes.
Event is run under UKA rules. Licenced by the Trail Running Association. Licence number pending. St Ives Bay 10k is race 2 in the Cornwall Multi Terrain Series and is fully chip timed. Entries/swaps will not be accepted on the day, but swaps can be undertaken up until race entries close.
